Elizabeth Turner
My experience has been created through the life I have led. I have read about it, I have studied it, I have worked in large companies doing it but most importantly I have actually lived it. My professional qualifications are important but my greatest qualification is my personal survival in the last few years.
On 11 September 2001, my husband, Simon, died on the 106th Floor of the World Trade Centre, New York. I was 7 months pregnant at the time, expecting our first child, and William was born in November 2001. Eighteen months later my mum died of a degenerative illness, Multiple Systems Atrophy that is related to the Parkinson’s disease.
I found myself in a place where my normal had gone and I had to completely rebuild my life from scratch – I had changed, my life had changed and I had to create a new future and a positive way forward.
Working within the finance, retail and media industries as a senior HR professional, I gained extensive commercial experience in KPMG, Wallis and Channel 4 Television Limited. I have demonstrated a high level of competence in all areas of coaching, personal and group development, recruitment and employee relations, with clear examples of change management experience, the delivery of strategic HR solutions, the design and creation of personal development programmes and coaching individuals and teams to achieve improved performance.
I have a BA Honours Degree in English Literature and I am a Member of the Chartered Institute for Personnel and Development, the International Coaching Federation, the UK Reiki Federation and I am also a qualified Occupational Tester for Level A and B.
I have had to deal with grief, trauma, becoming a mum, being a single parent, individual financial and legal issues, a high level career and intensive media interest. I had enormous life changes and I handled all of this because I was introduced to life coaching & Reiki healing, developing my awareness, intuition and responsibility for my own life.
I have now coached and developed clients in many areas, including career change, divorce, eating disorders, financial issues, bereavement, cancer, mid life crises and redundancy.
